OC Outreach: The Save A Life Project
The Save A Life Project is a juvenile crime and violence prevention program that saves the lives of troubled teens, ages 12-17, through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The program also provides the youth with character education classes that include writing exercises and small group discussions led by caring adult role models.
The Save A Life Project helps youth, who have a history of drug abuse, violence and crime. Teen participants develop life skills; such as, responsibility, anger management, peaceful conflict resolution, and self-esteem.
The character education component of the Save A Life Project is sponsored in part by the City of Orlando through the 2012 Mayor's Matching Grant.
